Heaven Sent, 2017 in HD. I just finished watching this after renting it from the library. It was very good. An 8-year-old runaway angel (Mallory James Mahoney) takes it upon herself to rekindle the love between a couple (Christian Kane, Marley Shelton) who are on the verge of a divorce.
Left Behind, 2014 in HD with Nicolas Cage and Cassi Thomson. The entire planet is thrown into mayhem when millions of people disappear without a trace -- all that remains are their clothes and belongings. Unmanned vehicles crash and planes fall from the sky, overwhelming emergency forces and causing massive gridlock, riots and chaos. Airline pilot Ray Steele (Nicolas Cage) struggles to save the lives of the passengers who remain on his flight, while his daughter (Cassi Thomson) races to find her brother and mother, both of whom have disappeared.
Delivery Man, 2013 in HD. Amiable slacker David Wozniak (Vince Vaughn) drives a delivery truck for his family's company and is content with a life of mediocrity. However, when he learns that he is the biological father of more than 500 offspring and many of them are suing to learn his identity, he decides to hold himself accountable for his actions. He finds some of his progeny and becomes involved in their lives; however, when David's girlfriend announces her pregnancy, she keeps her expectations low. Great movie!
The Martian, 2015 in HD. When astronauts blast off from the planet Mars, they leave behind Mark Watney (Matt Damon), presumed dead after a fierce storm. With only a meager amount of supplies, the stranded visitor must utilize his wits and spirit to find a way to survive on the hostile planet. Meanwhile, back on Earth, members of NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring him home, while his crew mates hatch their own plan for a daring rescue mission. Great movie.
The Great Fight, 2011 in HD. A police officer takes Juan, a street fighting autistic teen, under his wing. He teaches Juan how to fight in the octagon and the teen discovers he has a rare talent.
Ordinary Miracles, 2005 in 480p with Jaclyn Smith. Judge Kay Woodbury (Jaclyn Smith), both recently divorced and estranged from her father, leads a lonely life. Something in her connects with Sally (Lyndsy Fonseca), a troubled teen girl brought to her courtroom. Sally has bounced through many foster homes, and, rather than send her to juvenile prison for minor crimes, Kay decides to bring the girl into her own home. Sally begins their new arrangement by lying and stealing from Kay, but over time the two learn to trust and respect each other.
Foreign Exchange, 2008 in HD. Four high school friends decide to take all easy classes their last year of high school. One of their classes is a program for housing foreign exchange students. The four students are having troubles with grades, aspirations and love and are helped out by the foreign exchange students that they were supposed to be helping out.
In Time, 2011 in HD. Great movie! In a future where time is money and the wealthy can live forever, Will Salas (Justin Timberlake) is a poor man who rarely has more than a day's worth of life on his time clock. When he saves Henry Hamilton (Matt Bomer) from time thieves, Will receives the gift of a century. However, such a large transaction attracts the attention of the authorities, and when Will is falsely accused of murder, he must go on the run, taking.
10.5 Apocalypse, 2006 in HD. A sequel to 2004's 10.5, the film follows a series of catastrophic seismic disasters including earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, and sinkholes, all triggered by an apocalyptic earthquake with Kim Delaney, Dean Cain, Beau Bridges and more.
Who's Your Daddy, 2004 in 480p. An adopted teenager (Brandon Davis) inherits a porn empire from his birthparents.
Eurotrapped, 2013 in 480p but looks like HD with Bobby Kennedy (son of Robert Kennedy Jr.) and Alec Baldwin. Eurotrapped (alternate title ‘AmeriQua’). TV version. Comedy. Fresh from college and eager to explore Europe, Charlie takes a leap of faith and arrives in Italy without plans, friends or a place to stay. However, after his money is stolen and his father (Alec Baldwin) refuses to fund his trip, Charlie must now figure out how to grow up in a completely foreign world. Eurotrapped is a feel-good comedy about finding yourself in a sea of strangers.
Girl on a Bicycle, 2013 in HD. Paolo (Vincenzo Amato), an Italian who drives a Paris tour bus, has just proposed to his true love, the German stewardess, Greta (Nora Tschirner), when the young French beauty, Cécile (Louise Monot) pulls up beside his bus on her bicycle - and, in short order, Paolo, following some very bad advice from his friend, Derek (Paddy Considine), finds himself with a German fiancée, a French "wife", two Australian children who call him "Papa", and his life upside-down.
Big Stan, 2007 in HD with Rob Schneider. Stan is a convicted con man headed for jail. He is frightened and visits a martial arts expert to improve his feeble fighting skills. Will Stan master the moves and fend off his inmates?
Agent Cody Banks, 2003 in HD. High-school student Cody Banks (Frankie Muniz) wants nothing more than what every other teen wants: to survive the banality of adolescence and become an adult. But Banks is no ordinary teen; he's a CIA agent. And, when he's not doing his homework, Banks is on the case, spying on fellow student Natalie Connors (Hilary Duff) in order to get close to her father (Martin Donovan), a scientist who has invented killer nanobots designed to bring down the country.
Independence Daysaster, 2013 in HD. After an alien invasion disables conventional military forces, a man and a renegade scientist must find the alien's weakness and defeat them.
Jungle Book, 1994 in HD. When his father is killed by a jungle tiger, Mowgli (Jason Scott Lee) is orphaned and grows up in the wild, raised by animals. Years later, the bracelet given to him by his childhood friend, Kitty (Lena Headey), is stolen. In pursuing it, he discovers Monkey City with all its treasures. He is reunited with Kitty, but struggles to adapt to civilization. When Kitty's unscrupulous suitor, Capt. Boone (Cary Elwes), attempts to raid the jungle of its treasures, Mowgli's life is imperiled.
Iron Monkey, 1993 in HD with Donnie Yen. In a desperate and unjust land, where government corruption rules the day, only one man has the courage to challenge the system and fight back. They call him "Iron Monkey." Under the shadow of night, in the silence before dawn, he fights to give hope to the poor and the oppressed. Although no one knows his name and no one knows where he comes from, his heroism has made him a living legend to the people and a wanted man to the powers that be.
This is a 1988 movie but it is where Winona Ryder won critical acclaim and widespread recognition. Movie is in segments but they start as soon as one ends. Beetlejuice in HD. After Barbara (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin) die in a car accident, they find themselves stuck haunting their country residence, unable to leave the house. When the unbearable Deetzes (Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey Jones) and teen daughter Lydia (Winona Ryder) buy the home, the Maitlands attempt to scare them away without success. Their efforts attract Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton), a rambunctious spirit whose "help" quickly becomes dangerous for the Maitlands and innocent Lydia.
