From Medical News Today
The main risk of dying is from heart attacks. I will use this article as a guideline.
1. Visit doctor to see what they suggest for your heart. They will check things out and tell you what does not look good.
2. Stop smoking. This is really bad for your health. There is something worse for health than smoking according to webMD that gets a million visitors a day. It is not listed on any of these articles about the heart. Read about it below and why it is a secret.
3. The third one is to eat healthy but there different opinions on what that means. Just about all of them agree that people should consume more foods with omega-3-fatty acids.
4. Next it says you find out your BMI. That stands for Body Mass Index. This is about what your weight should be according to your height.
5. This one is about exercising 30 minutes a day. Try to find something fun to do. By making something a habit it makes it easier to do.
6. This one is about lowering blood pressure if it is too high. Your doctor can help you with this.
7. This is about controlling your blood sugar. People with diabetes have to especially be concerned about this.
Now you can find this information anywhere. Michael Greger M.D. reads all the studies on health and diet so will not have to. He tells about how at one point most of the doctors smoked cigarettes so they did not say that you should stop smoking. It is similar to Larry Nassar M.D. getting put in jail for sexually abusing gymnasts.
How is it similar to Dr. Nassar? Well at one time in the U.S. what he was doing was completely legal. At one time he could use the riches he earned as a doctor and bought the cutest little black girls and he could legally do anything he wanted to them and he could also kill them. Even George Washington and Thomas Jefferson had the American dream of owning black slaves.
So the crime of Dr. Nassar was being too late. WebMD has lots of MDs look at an article before it is published so it is completely beyond reproach. But the article says that something that the majority of medical doctors do, is worse for your health than smoking. So doctors cannot suggest people doing it.
Dr. Greger says that this thing that most MDs do, kill over a thousand Americans per day. Now it is not in the above or any of them. Prevention Magazine says that this thing makes you fat, is very addictive and shortens your lifespan. So what is this thing that you do daily that is worse than smoking but they will not tell you what it is.
In fact it has become so ingrained into your noggin that you think that it is a food, when it is not. Of course being addicted to it makes it so you cannot think straight. Instead of telling you what it is, I will let the links do that.
Cutting Salt As Good As Not Smoking
Shake the Salt Habit Now
You can see from the links above that I am talking about salt that is short for common table salt. They use the same salt on the ground to melt ice. Have you ever realized that there is no food that has salt in it from God or nature. Not fish or seaweed.
The only foods that have it are processed foods that means food created by people. It is in all sweet processed food like soda, pop or candy. I say it is not a food. So what is food? Things that are alive or was alive. Biology teaches (l was a chemist for the federal government) that plants create foods out of non-foods like air, water, sunlight and minerals. Now the need for addictive salt in food will go down when they put marijuana in food. Do you think sweet foods need to taste salty?
Getting enough sleep is very important even if the article does not say so. AARP (American Association of Retired Persons) has an article called The Seven Worst Things You Can Do to Your Heart.
1. You sneak a smoke.
2. You skip your walk.
3. You eat an extra cookie.
4. You eat dinner out of a box.
5. You shun your vegetables.
6. You lose your cool. Stress can be very bad for you.
7. You Overdrink
JAMA (Journal of American Medical Association) says that 77% of Americans do not get enough vitamin D so read How Much Vitamin D Should You Take Daily.
