Is the Media Misleading You About Bernie Sanders

At first it was recognized that the media was ignoring Bernie Sanders. Maybe if they ignored him, people would forget about him. That did not work so now they are trying to mislead people. This is specifically talking about the Democratic Primary on March 22 with 3 states including Arizona, Idaho and Utah.

First it was saying that since Arizona is bigger than Utah and Idaho combined then if one wins Arizona then they come out ahead even if they lose the other two. That is a lie or a mispeak. What person is famous for saying that they mispoke? Trump never says that. What matters is not what states you win. What matters is the number of delegates you get. So for example if someone wins Arizona and gets one more delegate and they lose Utah and Idaho get almost none of the delegates, then they lose very big in those 3 states.

Here is an example. First articles should start out with how many delegates each candidate won. But they do not. That is too factual. They want to put their own personal spin on it. That is what is important, the spin, not the facts. So here is the example. It was big news that Clinton won Missouri. She won it so it does not matter how close it is or how many delegates they got.

So Clinton is the winner and Sanders is the loser. Now if you are going to not mention the delegates, it would be more factual to say that they tied. They do not give out fractions of a delegate. So remember Clinton won and Sanders lost. The facts are that Clinton got 49.6% of the vote and Sanders got 49.4%. Now if what counts is other things then you could say that Clinton won. So Clinton got 34 delegates and Sanders got 34 delegates. So Clinton won 34 to 34. Does that sound right to you? Does it? In other words Sanders lost 34 to 34.

Now if you look at the facts then Clinton lost in Idaho and Utah. I can't find the delegate count but Clinton got 21% in one state and 20% in the other. Now that is about one-fifth or one out of five. Now that is factual but you can say that is terrible. So what about Arizona. There was a terrible case of voter suppression. Many waited over 3 hours in line, if they have nothing they had to do. Some waited until after 12:00 AM or midnight. Then many were told they were not registered under the democratic party, even life-long democrats, so that meant they coul not vote. Some were told they were registered as Independents, Libertarian or no party. See Something Is Going Seriously Wrong at Arizona Polls Today.

They even had one lady on video who went in and asked about it and they told her the computer changed what she was registered as! Using the percentages that the candidates won and the number of delegates I figured that Sanders won from the 3 states a lot more delegates than Clinton even if you ignore the huge voter problems in Arizona. Note that the demographics say that white young people under 30 heavily favor Sanders and if you look at many lines you will see that is what the lines mostly are. See the latest on AZ lawmakers to hold special hearing on elections fiasco.

Now here is an example of an article by USA Today called Hillary Clinton wins Arizona primary, as Bernie Sanders takes Utah, Idaho. It starts with:
Hillary Clinton won the pivotal presidential contest in Arizona Tuesday, prevailing over rival Bernie Sanders in the latest in a string of primary victories for the Democratic front-runner.
Tom Gagen, a 66-year-old Independent from Scottsdale, said he voted for Clinton because of her experience.
There is no mention that the Arizona voting is under investigation.

Bernie Sanders wants 4 years of free college. Hillary Clinton wants no free college. To make our country a better place and to be more competitive in the world President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden want 2 years of free college.

At one speech Sanders was talking about free college in countries. A guy raised his hand. He said that actually in Scandinavia not only is college free but they actually pay the students to go to college!

The Truth About Protein, Fats and Carbs

People know that by eating a high protein and low carb, low fat diet, they will lose weight. But it is not worth it. When you eat too much of carbs or fats, you store it as body fat. When you eat too much protein, where do you store it? Your body cannot store it. The body has to get rid of it. It breaks it down. People eat way too much protein. When the protein is broken down, it creates toxins and acids. The body becomes too acidic which leads to many health problems. The American Dietetic Association says that vegans [they eat no animal foods-- no meat, fish, fowl, eggs or dairy] eat twice the amount of protein that they need.
The acids cause your body to remove calcium from your bones to neutralize the acids (see bottom of article). The toxins from the breakdown of protein, attacks your arteries and can lead to high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes. College textbooks on nutrition say that protein deficiency is rare in the world and does not exist in this part of the world (U.S.A.). That means that while there are millions of people starving because they are not getting enough carbs and fats, it is rare to get enough of them but not enough protein.
There is nothing magical about protein. Some people will say that some food provides whole protein, but almost all do. Protein is made up of 8 essential amino acids and that is all (now there are 9-- see below). Almost all fruits and vegetables have all 8 essential amino acids. An avocado has 4 grams of protein and 4.2 grams of fiber. Animal foods have no fiber. It is 60% fat, but this fat is anti-inflammatory. Here are the amino acids that make up the protein in an avocado:
  1. 42 mg of trytophan
  2. 133 mg of threonine
  3. 143 mg of isoleucine
  4. 247 mg of leucine
  5. 189 mg of lycine
  6. 74 mg of methionine
  7. 137 mg of phenolalanine
  8. 195 mg of valine
A cup of navy beans has 19.7 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber.  It has all 8 amino acids and the smallest amount is 233 mg of tryptophan. The above comes from the book, Nutrition Almanac, 4th Edition (1996). It says that histadine is an essential amino acid in infants and it has been added to the 8 essential ones for adults. But it was added after they tested hundreds of foods for the 8 amino acids. A potato has 4.7 grams of protein, 1.2 grams of fiber and all 8 amino acids with the lowest being 73 mg of tryptophan and methionine. Four ounces of pistachio nuts have 23.2 grams of protein, 2 grams of fiber, 8 amino acids with the least being 320 mg of tryptophan.
The magic is in the thousands of different phytochemicals that are in plant foods that prevent blindness, prevent cancer, prevent heart attacks and that prevent strokes. More than 900 different phytochemicals have been found in plant foods and more will be discovered. For example lycopene that makes tomatoes, grapefruit and watermelon red. Also there is lutein, resveratrol, (indole-3-carbinol), anthocyanins and many more.
Lutein and zeaxanthin, in spinach prevent blindness in old age. The John Hopkins University School of Medicine found that the sulforaphane in broccoli sprouts "may reduce the risk of cancer, a disease of many factors" according to their group, the Brassica Foundation. So they bred broccoli high in this phytochemical and patented it.
The brain needs lots of carbs. If a person does not get enough, he can get depressed. This can lead to someone killing themselves. So it is not worth it to lose some weight and end up dead. Also the brain needs plenty of carbohydrates for you to sleep well. If you are not getting enough carbs, that can make it hard to sleep leading to mental problems and even a nervous breakdown.
Of course the good carbs from foods made by nature like fruits and vegetables are good for you. The bad carbs from foods made by man are bad for you, like cookies, donuts and candy. These foods are designed to make you fat and addicted to food. The unholy grains, like wheat and rice are also bad for you. The whole grains like whole wheat, brown rice, wild rice, millet, barley, buckwheat, kamut, spelt and quinoa are good for you.
Fats are needed to lubricate the brain, arteries and skin. A lack of good fat (like omega-3) can cause you to become depressed. It can also lead to high blood pressure, heart attacks and strokes. Also it can cause skin problems. The bad fats are bad for you. But the good fats are good for you. Fish cannot be included as good fats since there is too much mercury in them from pollution. But you can get good fat from avocados. It is 60% fat and it is great for you. It is even anti-inflammatory which can help your joints.
When they are soft but not mushy, they are good to eat. Sometimes they have brown in them and they are not good so it is like a gamble buying them. But it is well worth it. Other good fats are olives, olive oil, canola oil, nuts and seeds. Studies with olive oil show that it helps your arteries and helps you to be thinner. Flaxseeds, walnuts and pumpkin seeds are good sources of omega --3s, a fat that people do not get enough of. President Bush takes an omega--3 supplement.
Americans eat way too much protein which is why most of them get myocardial infarctions or cerebrovascular accidents (AKA heart attacks or strokes) according to book, Fasting and Eating for Health (1995), by Joel Fuhrman, M.D. Americans consume 5 times the protein they need causing 50% of them, over 65, to have hypertension (AKA high blood pressure).
Yet in some places in the world, high blood pressure is rare. The American Heart Association (www.americanheart.org) says not to have more than 6 ounces a day of meat, fish or poultry. The saturated fat in meat is also bad for you (increases cholesterol levels). So in studies, they had people switch from beef to a leaner meat like chicken. But they got more protein bite-for-bite and had no improvement in cardiovascular health. Studies show that fruits and vegetables prevent cancer. Meat causes cancer according to this big study done.
That book, Nutrition Almanac, says "A vegetarian diet full of fruits and vegetables and grains has been found to be the most helpful in lowering or eliminating high blood pressure." 40% of Americans over age 40 have high blood pressure. Kevin Trudeau says in More Natural Cures Revealed (© 2006) "The meat [beef] ...is loaded with drugs, growth hormone, as well as feces and urine.... The fact is cows are vegetarian and should not be eating the type of feed given to them. Specifically they should not be eating ground up pigs, horses, goats, and other cows, most of which were sick and diseased and not capable of butchering for human consumption."
David Williams, D.C. (Alternatives Newsletter) says that women live longer since menstruation causes them to lose iron. He cites New England Journal of Medicine (N Eng L Med 03;348 (19):1835-1837). Donating blood helps you get rid of excess iron and so does fasting. The 3 fathers of modern medicine (Hippocrates, Galen and Paracelsus) all used fasting. See this: Haemochromatosis.
Frederic Vagnini, MD, assistant clinical professor at Weill Cornell Medical College and medical director for the Heart, Diabetes and Weight -Loss Centers of New York, says (page 41 in Bottom Line Yearbook 2008), "Never take a supplement for iron without consulting your physician-- excess iron can accumulate in your major organs and cause severe damage."
Here is more information from Fasting and Eating for Health (by Joel Fuhrman M.D.). Page 39 says "Multiple studies have linked osteoporosis not to low calcium intakes, but to diets high in protein, refined sugar, caffeine, and phosphorus contained in soft drinks, all of which cause an excessive loss of calcium in the urine." [Hegsted M, Linkswiler HM. Long-term effects of level of protein intake on calcium metabolism in young adult women. Journal of Nutrition 1981;111:244-51.][Zemel MB, Schuette SA, Hegsted M, Linkswiler HM. Role of sulfer-containing amino acids in protein induced hypercalciuria (the presence of abnormally great amounts of calcium in the urine) in men. Journal of Nutrition 1981;111:545-52.]
"In fact, populations that consume the highest levels of calcium usually have the highest rates of osteoporosis-related hip fractures." [Mazess RB, Mather W. Bone mineral content of North American Eskimos. American Journal of Clinical Nutrition 1974;27:916-925.] "The U.S. RDA (recommended daily allowance) for protein is 44 grams for a young woman. This includes a two-fold safety factor, which doubles the minimum requirements as determined by nitrogen balance studies."
"Plant products contain an abundance of protein, without being excessive (page 40). How else can the gorilla get to be 800 pounds of muscle, eating solely fruit and leaves?"
"Numerous studies have shown that the formation of kidney stones is directly proportional (page 41) to the amount of animal protein in the diet. [Robertson WG, Peacock M, Hodgkinson A. Dietary changes and the incidence of urinary calculi in the U.K. between 1958 and 1976. Journal of Chronic Disease 1979;22:469-476.]"
"In reality, (page 95) high-protein diets are linked with the development of serious diseases including cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, renal insufficiency, and kidney stones." Vegetarian Times says "By individually tailoring nutrition plans based on a case-by-case basis, Fuhrman has treated hundreds of patients with rheumatoid arthritis successfully." The body needs vitamin D from the sun to put calcium in the bones.
"The misunderstanding of human protein requirements began 70 years ago when two scientists published the results of a study that showed that rats fed vegetable protein grew more slowly than rats fed animal protein. Today, we have to interpret this information much differently. First of all, we now know that humans and rats have different protein requirements and that people can get all the protein they need from plant sources. More important, we now have found that rats that grow and mature the quickest die earliest."
"The average American (page 96) consumes about 150 grams of protein a day-- about 5 times the amount actually needed. This excess protein, not to mention the fat that accompanies it, is extremely damaging." "Urea is one irritating substance that results from consuming excess protein." "Researchers are finding that many of these other by-products of protein digestion have a powerful toxic effect on the brain, and can cause mental fatigue and confusion as their levels rise in the body." "A crucial point to keep in mind here is that there are about 14 other toxins besides urea that are breakdown products of protein metabolism."
Steven Pratt, M.D., says in Super Foods Rx (© 2008), "Keep in mind (page 22) that eating plant protein leads to less calcium loss than animal protein, a benefit to those who are vulnerable to osteoporosis. In general, as you increase your protein intake, you increase the amount of calcium lost from your bones. The acidity that occurs with eating meat increases the calcium loss compared with plant protein."
On page 122 he says "For one thing, the more protein you take in, the more calcium you excrete in your urine, thus raising your risk for osteoporosis." "A high-protein diet is also associated with some risk for kidney damage among susceptible people."

The Best Food Group for Cardiovascular Health

Nutrition experts know that the best food group for preventing and fighting cancer are the cruciferous vegetables or cabbage family vegetables. They include cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, brussels sprouts, kale, collard greens and others. Cancer is the second leading cause of death of Americans. But here is the latest news that I just discovered in May 2009, the same time that Microsoft came out with Windows 7. The best food group for helping with cardiovascular problems is berries.
Who says so? I do. Why do I say this? That is what this article is about. If I am wrong, then you can have fun finding the holes in my theory. The botanical definition of a berry is a simple fruit produced from a single ovary, such as a grape or a tomato. However, in everyday English, a berry is a term for any small edible fruit. So I will go by the everyday English meaning. Heart attacks and strokes are the first and third leading cause of death of Americans.

Even though we are not using the first definition, grapes have the phytochemical resveratrol in them. Tomatoes have the phytochemical lycopene in them. Both are good for cardiovascular health and for cancer protection. The first thing is the Doctrine of Signatures. This states that an herb, botanical or plant food sometimes gives a clue about what it is good for by its appearance like ginseng root looking like a human body or a walnut looking like a brain.

Berries are the color of blood. Blood that is very oxygenated is red, but blood without oxygen can appear blueish or purple. Just look at the veins of someone with varicose veins. Lycopene is the phytochemicial in many foods that make them red. One newer red berry that is great for cardiovascular health is goji berries. Here is what webmd.com says about goji berries:
"Research shows that eating berries -- like blueberries, acai berries, cranberries, strawberries, and cherries -- offers some definite health benefits. Berries like the goji berry are filled with powerful antioxidants and other compounds that may help prevent cancer and other illnesses, including heart disease."

Strawberries are said to help lower high blood pressure (hypertension) See study done by clicking on the following link. Another good example of the Doctrine of Signatures is the strawberry. It is red and is shaped like a heart. Note that berries have different anthocyans (a group of phytochemicals) that strengthens the inner lining of the arteries.  Common problems with arteries include angina, congestive heart failure, intermittent claudication, peripheral arterial disease (PAD), strokes and heart attacks. The above website says:
"A recent study conducted at the Harvard School of Public Health found that participants eating the most strawberries had the lowest blood levels of C-reactive protein, a marker for inflammation in the blood vessels, and slightly lower cholesterol levels than those who consumed fewer strawberries. Another study found that strawberry eaters have lower blood pressure than non-strawberry eaters. Further, strawberries are a good source of potassium, which helps regulate electrolytes in the body, lowering the risk of heart attack and stroke. Strawberries' folate, fiber, and vitamin C also provide heart-protective benefits."

Superfoods Rx (2008) by Steven Pratt, M.D. says (p 28) "The anthocyans also work synergistically with vitamin C and other key antioxidants. They strengthen the capillary (tiny blood vessel) system by promoting the production of quality collagen-- the building block of tissues. This important subclass of flavonoids also promotes vasodilation (widening of arteries) and has an inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation-- an aspirin-like effect on blood clot formation." Please note that aspirin are drugs and berries are foods.
Studies show that anthocyanins can help prevent blood clots, improve blood circulation, relax blood vessels, and prevent arthrosclerosis. But scientists have also uncovered a whole host of other powerful effects from anthocyanins, including antiviral and antiallergenic properties. Some research even suggests that anthocyanins can prevent cancer, by blocking carcinogenesis on a molecular level and encouraging tumor cell death.
Webmd.com says "Anthocyanins are responsible for the red, purple, and blue hues in many fruits, vegetables, and flowers." " Anthocyanins and flavonoids are powerful antioxidants that help defend the body against life's stressors. They also play a role in the body's cell protection system. Free radicals are harmful byproducts produced by the body. Eating a diet rich in antioxidants may interfere with aging and the disease process by neutralizing free radicals. By lessening the destructive power of free radicals, antioxidants may help reduce the risk of some diseases, such as heart disease and cancer."
If you look these things up, you will see that they are also effective for preventing cancer. A recent study from the University of Michigan reveals that new evidence links cherries (a red berry) to heart health benefits. The study found that a cherry enriched diet lowered total weight, body fat (especially the important belly fat), inflammation and cholesterol-- all risk factors associated with heart disease. According to the American Heart Association, being overweight or obese, in particular when the weight is concentrated in the middle, is a major risk factor for heart disease.
There are other red berries like cranberries and then there are the other darker color berries. Some that have attracted a lot of attention for health benefits are acai berries, yumberries and aronia berries that are said to improve circulation and strengthen blood vessels. Here is what the above website says about acai berries "Studies show that anthocyanins can help prevent blood clots, improve blood circulation, relax blood vessels, and prevent arthrosclerosis." Mayoclinic.com says "Acai berries are a good source of antioxidants, fiber and heart-healthy fats."
If you are acting too immature, then you can take elderberries to help you act older, like your elders. Actually elderberry juice is known to lower cholesterol levels and reduce bad cholesterol. This can be highly beneficial in preventing the various heart related disorders. Bilberries are great for night vision. There is a red berry that is great for cardiovascular health. But I have not seen it sold as a berry. I have only seen it sold in capsules or as a tea. Herbalists know that it is the best herb for heart health or cardiovascular health. It is the red hawthorn berry.

Prescription for Herbal Health (2002) by Phyllis Balch says " A large body of scientific research has shown that the fruit, leaves and flowers of various hawthorn species dilate the blood vessels, lower blood pressure and dissolve cholesterol. Hawthorn fights atherosclerosis, in which cholesterol forms plaques on blood-vessel walls. in two ways." It increases the rate that the liver converts bad LDL cholesterol into good HDL cholesterol. It "also fights atherosclerosis by providing antioxidants, which prevent plaque formation."

Here is more information I came across on bilberries. It says that it is a vasodilater. This means that it widens the blood vessels so the blood pressure is lower. Bilberry is a rich source of anthocyanidins, which gives it the unique ability to stabilize and protect collagen stores. This helps it to prevent capillary leakage and hemorrhage. Bilberry is currently being used to treat vascular and blood disorders, and is a main ingredient in the treatment of many visual problems. It has even been proven effective for varicose veins, thrombosis, diabetes, macular degeneration, and angina.
Due to its rich amounts of anthocyanosides, bilberry is an extremely valuable treatment for a variety of disorders in which leaky veins cause tissue damage. Containing over 15 different anthocyanosides, bilberry protects the veins and arteries, as it boosts a great deal of physiological processes that results in the improved integrity of capillary walls. Additionally, anthocyanosides prevent platelets from sticking to the walls of vessels, which helps to prevent the formation of blood clots.
Acerola cherries also contain anthocyans like other berries, but also contains many times more vitamin C than oranges. Vitamin C is very good for heart and cardiovascular health. A website says that acerola cherries helps high blood pressure, protects against blood clotting and bruising, aids collagen formation and helps to prevent arthrosclerosis. I have never seen them sold, but they are an ingredient in some supplements and juices. Another website says that the acerola cherry promotes healthy capillary function.
I love blueberries and I just found some great news about the humble blueberry. In commercial blueberry production, smaller species are known as "lowbush blueberries" (synonymous with "wild"), and the larger species as "highbush blueberries". Animal trials were conducted by Marva Sweeney Nixon and her team of researchers at the University of Prince Edward Island, PEI, Canada. They indicate that the consumption of wild blueberries offers protection to the brain against damage from ischemic stroke. Over 95% of people have the ischemic stroke (blocked artery) instead of the hemorrhagic stroke (bleeding artery).
Nutritional Neuroscience. 2002; 5(6): 427-431

New research by Dorothy Klimis-Zacas, Ph.D., and her team of researchers at the University of Maine, Orono, concludes that a diet of wild blueberries may reduce risk from cardiovascular disease (CVD). These findings also suggest that consuming of wild blueberries could help regulate blood pressure and combat atherosclerosis. Studies show that they have the potential to decrease the vulnerability of heart blood vessels to oxidative stress and inflammation in animal models.
Journal of Medicinal Food, 2009; Feb; 12 (1): 21-8
Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, 2009, Jan 19.
Journal of Nutritional Biochemistry, 2006 17(2): 109-116
Journal of Medicinal Food, 2005 Mar; 8(1): 8-13

The latest information shows that the anthocyanins in berries can protect people from Parkinson's disease. Study author and American Academy of Neurology member Xiang Gao, of the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, said that berries can increase dopamine levels, which affect brain processes that control movement, emotional response and the ability to experience pleasure and pain.

The French Girl's Dog Gets a Name

See our privacy policy. I am going to move this blog to a place that has the software for a blog. If I had a better computer I could put that software on this computer. This blog will be continued at Extreme Euphoria.
I gave the French girl a few suggestions for a name for her dog, but she did not use any of them. But I also told her that I had a friend in Australia, Naomi Allen, that she reminded me of. I told her (in the email) that I had a picture of Naomi with her koala, which looks like a cute little bear. So she named the dog Koala.
She said that it sounds great in French but I do not know if it is a different word or is it is the same word but sounds different with a French accident. Either way it is cute that she named him Koala. She also wrote that she had Japanese food and that koala loved it, but koala loves everything. I thought that was cute since I know the way dogs are.
I was watching American Idol and something was very obvious to me. Now people in the East believe this, but people in the West do not believe this after the Church said that anyone who believes it will be expelled from the church. I knew that Adam Lambert was Elvis Presley in his past life. I do not know how I knew it, but I knew it. I could feel it. This has happened a few times before, but with only people that I know.
I told a young woman, Rose Fitzgerald, that I could remember her being my grandmother that died when I was 6. This is a long story. I went though some very intense and strange emotions where my perception of time was skewed (definition of skew-- to distort from a true value). It was very interesting.
She could not really believe this. But I also told her that my grandmother's favorite thing to do was to hold me when I was a baby. Then she said that that is really strange since she could tell from her sister's baby that that is her favorite thing to do.

French Girl Gets Followed Home

When the French girl was walking home from school, she was followed home by a cute little white dog. When she got home, she asked her parents if she could keep the dog. They told her that she could so now she has a dog.
She asked me to suggest a name and I gave her a few to choose from. I told her that on the Seinfeld show, Kramer got a rooster and called him Little Jerry. Then he would compare Little Jerry to Big Jerry (Seinfeld). She calls me Sunshine since I brighten her life. So I told her that she could call the dog, Little Sunshine or the French words for that.

Happy New Year

Way back when I started corresponding with the French girl, I learned that she played the piano. I suggested that she listen to the piano piece called Solfigietto by Bach. She liked it and tried to learn it even though I told her it was hard to learn. At points she was frustrated, but kept learning it. She just sent me a recording of it for a holiday present.
I will put it on here as soon as I learn how to put a recording on here. She sounds great playing it. She is working on painting a painting for me. When she is finished, she will send me a picture of it. Of course it is great that she is alive and that I am alive.
It is much better for cardiovascular health to get a dead tooth pulled instead of getting a root canal. The doctor makes a lot of money from the latter and you get to still keep the tooth and use it. But the dead tooth breeds bad bacteria that can enter the body and lead to heart attacks and strokes.
Weston Price gave his son a root canal before they had antibiotics. It got infected and the infection went into his blood and he died of septicemia (blood poisoning). I had a bad experience with a root canal and angina. My friend had a root canal and later it needed to be fixed. It was taken out and lasered and put back in. He then started having heart problems. He did a search and saw what it said and had the dentist take it out and his heart problems stopped.

A Great Joke

The French girl's parents separated, but got back together. They did not move. Here is a great joke that I just came across. A man, called to testify at the IRS, asked his accountant for advice on what to wear. "Wear your shabbiest clothing. Let him think you are a pauper," the accountant replied.
Then he asked his lawyer the same question, but got the opposite advice. "Do not let them intimidate you. Wear your most elegant suit and tie."

Confused, the man went to his Rabbi, told him of the conflicting advice, and requested some resolution of the dilemma. "Let me tell you a story," replied the Rabbi. "A woman, about to be married, asked her mother what to wear on her wedding night. 'Wear a heavy, long, flannel nightgown that goes right up to your neck.' But when she asked her best friend, she got conflicting advice. 'Wear your most sexy negligee, with a V neck right down to your navel.' "

The man protested: "What does all this have to do with my problem with the IRS?"

The rabbi said "No matter what you wear, you are going to get screwed."

Einstein Intelligence Quiz from French Girl

The Little French Girl sent me this Einstein Intelligence Quiz. Albert Einstein said that only 2% of the people on the planet can solve it. The top 2% have an IQ of over 132. At that IQ they can be an eminent professor or editor. This 15 year old girl said that it was very easy for her. But her father is a doctor in a hospital and her mother is a lawyer. It uses an ambiguous word that can have different meanings and cause people to fail to figure it out. I asked people on the internet what this word meant and got 3 different answers. So I tell you what the word means in this quiz and correct the mistake that Einstein made. For the rest of this blog post see Einstein Intelligence Quiz.

My Email to the Little French Girl

Do you like reading other people's emails? Well here is my last email to the little French girl. I must warn you that it is a very private email.
"I was trying to figure out how somebody that I never met could be the most important thing in my life. I did it! I figured it out. In your first email to me you had told me the one thing that caused all of your problems. You said that no one cares about you.

So no one cared about how you felt. No one cared what happened in your life. No one cared if you lived or died. If you disappeared, then your father would just keep working at the hospital. Your mother would keep defending people. Your therapist would keep being paid to talk to people and your swim coach would keep coaching swimmers. Life would continue as normal.

But I said that I cared about you, and that made all the difference. You said that you do not want me to feel bad because you are feeling bad. But that is what caring is all about. Since you care about me, it is the same with me. If I got hit by a car tomorrow and became crippled and could not walk, it would make you sad. That is how caring works.

So that is why we love each other. This is what best friends do, they care about each other. They share the ups and downs in their lives, so they never go through it alone. I care very much about you and I love being best friends with you."

Affluenza, Parenting and Being Happy

This still has to do with blog # 25. They had on TV a show on affluenza. A writer created this word by combining affluent and influenza. A neuroscientist was saying that parents will not spend enough time with their kids and will feel guilty. Then to make up for it, they will buy something for the kid or give them money to buy things. But this does not make up for it.
Then kids may develop a habit of spending money to try to be happy, but that does not work. One kid had parents that got divorced and they did not have as much money to give her as before. They lived in the U.S.A. For the summer, they sent the girl to live with relatives in Mexico who live on a farm. This girl was saying that they did not have electricity or even running water but they were happy unlike the people in America.
She became happy being there and brought that happiness back home. But she did not talk about where that happiness came from. We already know that lack of money does not bring you happiness. They had this happiness from the parents spending quality time with the kids. The parents feel good and do not feel guilty. The children feel loved. This becomes a chain from parents to children.

Maybe the parents of the French girl had parents that did not spend enough time with them. And so you have this new disease called affluenza. At this farm, they were used to things not being comfortable. Some call this an addiction, but I love to watch TV and read. A Christian minister, on TV,  was saying that Christians (this applies to everyone in our society) tend to gripe [to complain with grumbling] when things do not go their way.
Eckhart Tolle explains why they are like that. In The Power of Now (page 159), he says
What is the purpose of the irritation? [from a car alarm going off and the sound continuing]. None whatsoever. Why did you create it? You didn't. The mind did. It was totally automatic, totally unconscious. Why did the mind create it? Because it holds the unconscious belief that its resistance, which you experience as negativity or unhappiness in some form, will somehow dissolve the undesirable condition. This, of course, is a delusion. The resistance that it creates, the irritation or anger in this case, is far more disturbing than the original cause that it attempted to dissolve.
He mentions this since it can be transcended by being a conscious person living in the present moment.

The Little French Girl

There has been a little set back (see blog 26). Her parents wanted to move out of Paris and the little french girl (she did not want me to mention her name) did not want to. She was arguing with them and her mother slapped her. The father then slapped the mother and he told her to never hit his girl again.
So she went back into her depression again. But she came out of it in a couple of days. Although she is not doing as well as she was before this happened. The parents are fighting a lot now. I am still friends with her but she complains that it is not the same as me being there in person to help her. I had to agree with her. She said that because she was still feeling down but then felt better and she was happy that we could email each other.
She had a severe lack of self-esteem before but it is much better now. She started painting again. She reminds me of gifted geniuses that had emotional problems like Vincent Van Gogh, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and D.H. Lawrence. Also she came in second in her swim meet.

Attempted Suicide-- A Little French Girl

It has been a long time since my last blog article. My last one was so good, I did not want to replace it with another one. But now I have a better story. I live in Philadelphia, PA, U.S.A. A 14 year old girl in Paris, France had 2 friends. One was her father who is a doctor at a hospital. The other was a boy who was her best friend. Her mother is a lawyer but they are not close.
Her father had to spend more time at the hospital so he did not have time for her. She has a butler and a housekeeper. Then her best friend told her that he did not want to talk to her anymore. So now she had no friends and she felt like no one cared about her.
She was on the fifth floor balcony of her apartment and thought of a way to end all her problems. It was not premeditated. She jumped off the balcony. She hit her head on a balcony on the way down. When she landed on the sidewalk, she was conscious but then went into a coma for a couple of days. She broke an arm and a leg and 2 ribs.
Then she cut her wrists but failed again to end her life. Then she was seeing a therapist and on medications for several months but was still very depressed.
Someone asked a question about life being tough on a forum. This girl said that she is 14 and life is terrible and she wishes she were dead. I looked at her profile and she did not sound like a depressed person. So I emailed her about it. She felt that she should not mention being depressed on her profile.
She did not like her therapist. I suggested that she sunbathe. She said that she could not because she is pale. So I told her that she should lie on her back for 5 minutes and on her front for 5 minutes, the first day. Then on the next day she should spend 6 minutes on each side. Then on next day 7 minutes on each side.
After a month, she was enjoying sunbathing and she got off the medications and stopped seeing the therapist. She now had one friend (me) and she was happy. She was playing piano and on a swim team. Now it is 2 months after I first emailed her and she is doing well. She is 15 now. Sometimes just one friend can make a difference. I have a webpage on this site about healing depression and healing anxiety disorder.

How I Changed the Future

The following happened two days ago on Friday. I was in Whole Foods health foods supermarket on South St in Philadelphia. They usually do no not sell stuffed animals but they had some really nice stuffed animal birds. As I was walking by the display, there was a mother and her daughter walking by it. The girl was about 8 years old and had blonde hair. The girl saw the display and she lunged at it and grabbed one of the birds. She was in love with these birds. [Lunge-- a sudden forward rush or reach]. She acted like she had just found a treasure chest full of large diamonds, rubies, sapphires and emeralds.
I bet that you have a dream in your life, even though I do not know what it is. For this girl, at that moment, her dream in life was to have one of these birds. They are called Audubon birds and they are made to look like the actual bird. The mother grabbed her and pried the bird from her hand. I could tell that she loved her daughter but could not afford to buy one. She started to drag her girl away. I said to the mother, "How much are these birds?" She said "$6.99" while pointing to the sign and walked away.
I looked in my wallet and pulled out $7. I found her and said "Excuse me. Here is $7 so you can buy your daughter one of those birds." She said to me "Are you sure?" I said "Yes, I do not need this money. You can have it." She took it and said "thank you." But she was looking at me like I just gave her a million dollars. She was looking at me with a very surprised look, like I had just changed her life. So I said to her "Well if it were around Christmas, I would say 'merry Christmas.' But why can't everyday be like that?"
Now if it were Christmas, then that would make it alright because Christmas is the season of giving and the time of miracles. So that means that when it is not around Christmas, it is the season of not giving and miracles cannot happen. So why can't it be like Christmas all year round? I was brought up celebrating Hanukah and Christmas. The song, White Christmas, was created by a Jew, Irving Berlin. He also wrote the song, God Bless America. But he did not regard Christmas as a religious holiday. He regarded it as an American secular holiday. [Secular-- of or relating to the worldly].
I was going by the display again and the mother and daughter were having fun trying to decide what bird to buy. The mother was acting almost as excited as her daughter.  I said "They have a large variety of birds to choose from." She said "Yes they do and you have made my daughter's day!" Here is a website with birds just like those in the store. While I was leaving the store, I saw the mother at the checkout and the girl was playing with her bird. She was pretending that it was flying and she was in heaven.
But the future had already been written. I saw the future when the mother was dragging her daughter away from the display. It was fate and destiny that the mother and daughter were to leave the store without a bird. No matter what the girl did in her life, she would always have that memory of not getting something that she wanted very much on that day. That was the future.
But the future can always be changed. That is what is great about the future. I had made the choice to change the future and who knows how big the change will be for that girl in the future. In the movie, Back to the Future, the son went back in time and changed one week in the life of his parents. Then when he came back, everything was different. It was much better.

Oprah, Tolle, Psychology and Scientology

Have you heard that Oprah Winfrey is heavily promoting Eckhard Tolle and his book, A New Earth? His previous book was The Power of Now. She is having web telecasts on Monday nights on it and has other celebrities doing it. Jenny McCarthy says that the only place that you can feel peace, is in the now. Eckhard Tolle and A New Earth promotes being in the present to be happy.
Did you know that this is what psychology is about? Especially the new psychology, Positive Psychology. For more on that see my webpage Finding Happiness / What is Enlightenment. A very famous American psychologist, Abraham Maslow (1908-1970), said "I can feel guilty about the past, apprehensive about the future, but only in the present can I act. The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness."
This is not saying that you should think about the present instead of thinking about the past or future. It is saying that you should be in the present regardless of what you are thinking about. Wayne Dyer says that there is no such thing as stress, only stressful thoughts. A good example of that is nine-eleven (9/11/2001). As far as the event, many felt a lot of stress when hearing about, but many Muslims were happy and celebrating when they heard about it.
With Scientology (including Dianetics) they will go over a traumatic event in the past that is a problem for people. They do the same thing in psychology (psychotherapy). In Scientology they use something similar to a lie detector to determine just how much stress or upset is associated with an event.
Using Scientology terminology (the terms used in a certain subject), they say that there are attention units trapped in the past associated with a traumatic event. By relieving the upset in it, the attention units return to the present, where they belong. For more about using this to be happy, see the link in this article.

Good Advice

This primary election of 2008 is certainly different than any other. The Republican race was not much of a race. The guy in second place just dropped out. The Democratic race is very close and is dividing Democrats. Also as of right now, the people in Michigan and Florida, two big states, had no say at all in the democratic primary race. It is like there are only 48 states instead of 50 states in the United States of America.
A woman on a forum was asking about the benefits of keeping a journal. I had good information on that in a book. I told her to email me and request me to put the information on a webpage. I did and she thanked me. I put it on the page with Advice for Teen Girls. Now it is on the world wide web for anyone to look at. I guess I like the saying from the movie, Anti-Trust. It says "Human knowledge belongs to the world."
Also on a forum, a girl was complaining about how other girls in school are treating her. So I had some very good advice for that and put it on that same webpage. Then I also added another article to my webpage with Articles About Health and Wellness.
It is based on the information in the book, The Continuum Concept. It has information about bringing up infants with great testimonials about the book. I saw reviews of the book and some people were very concerned about minor information in the book, even though they agreed with the main information in the book. So the article focused on the main information in the book.
It tells about the reasons that Americans have a lack of self-esteem. Also the book explained the mystery of post partum depression. It explains that if a baby dies right after it is born, the mother will not be carrying it around all the time. She will be burying it or burning it. It is normal for the mother to be depressed about this death.
The mother's body has been programmed to be holding the baby a lot. If the mother does not hold the baby a lot, it is telling the mother's body that the baby has died and so she gets depressed. It can also be more complicated that (this is not in that book). If the mother was not held much as a baby, then holding her baby makes her very uncomfortable.

Spring is Here. Is Obama Black

Today is the first day of spring in the Northern Hemisphere. I saw an article that asked if Obama is black. By Jewish law, someone is Jewish if their mother is Jewish. Others may go by what the father is. Adolf Hitler had a precise definition of who was Jewish. So the answer to the above is that it is in the eyes of the beholder.
Obama's mother is white and his father is black and is from Kenya. So this means that Obama is not a descendent of slaves. His ancestors were not slaves. But usually when someone is part black, they are usually referred to as a black. But I heard some that were half white and half black say that they are not accepted by either white or blacks. But someone cannot tell by looking at you that you are only half black.
Slave masters would have sex with slaves and the children would be half white and half black but they were still slaves and considered black. That is why many blacks are light brown. I am white (half Jewish and half Irish Catholic). But I have seen some Spike Lee movies. In the movie, School Daze, there was a race war going on. It was between the light blacks and the dark blacks.
In the movie, On the Bus (about the million man march), there was an argument going on. It was explained that the light blacks (who were half white) were slaves just like the dark blacks. But the other guy said that they were the house niggers. They got to live in the house while the other slaves had to live outside in the barn with the animals.

Obama's Minister

Obama's minister, Wright,  has said some things in the past that are causing a change in the polls where many more people are in favor of Hillary Clinton for president. I think that what is wrong with what Wright said is the color of his skin. Because he is black, he said that Hillary Clinton has never been called a nigger. This would be like Clinton's minister saying that that Obama has never been called a cunt.
The dictionary says that a cunt is an obscene word for the female pudenda. Who knows what a pudenda is? Why not just say female genitals? So Wright would have not said that about being called nigger if he were white. It is obscene for white people to say that. But by blacks using it, they are keeping the word alive and active. They used to call Jews the derogatory slang  word, "kike." Now if Jews would call each other that, that word would not have been forgotten.
Now the other stuff that Wright said can be considered anti-American but it is true. But because he is black, it can just be considered sour grapes. White Europeans coming to America killed many native Americans and wiped out the Aztec and Incan empires. They made blacks into slaves which was such an awful thing that most crimes committed in America today are because of that. Most people in jail are black.
Then after they were freed there was lots of things against them like not being able to vote. First they were called negroes and I do not know what is wrong with that. Then they were called colored and they had to sit in the back of the bus and they were not allowed in certain places. There would be signs saying "NO JEWS, COLOREDS OR DOGS ALLOWED." Colored was a derogatory word. They were never officially referred to as niggers just like Jews were never officially referred to as kikes.
By the way, the derogatory word for Jewish girls is JAP which means Jewish American Princess. But that is not so bad. Then coloreds were called blacks and still are, even though there is the push to have them called African-Americans. So people have ignored the terrible thing that was done to blacks where they were considered animals and legally they were property that could be bought and sold. There is still the NAACP (Nat. Assoc. for the Advancement of Colored People). I heard that it was started by Jews. I apologize for not having the software to allow comments. If you click VIEW and then SOURCE, you can see that I use simple code. I have only been online for less than 3 years.
If my ancestors were kidnapped and brought here and made slaves, maybe I would have become a terrible criminal. American are still paying for what our ancestors have done. If the black slaves had killed all the whites in the South and took their money, then it would have been paid for and we could forget about it. I do not know how it is in the rest of the country, but blacks in the Philadelphia area want to be referred to as "people of color" as their race. They have stores using that term in its name. This is because some blacks are light brown.
People talk about paying reparations. Here is my partial solution. The federal government puts loads of money into inner city public schools and make them better than the fancy schools in the suburbs. Have lots of fun options for the kids like learning violin, modern dance, chess and martial arts. Also have teachers that treat these kids like they are princes and princesses.

Articles

I have not put up any blog articles in a while since I have been creating articles to go out on the internet. If you do a search for "Chuck Bluestein" you will see these articles plus you will see all these article sites on the internet in case you want to put up articles. Here are those Articles in one place. I have been getting better at writing articles. They are easier to write and I come up with more ideas. I guess like with anything, "practice makes perfect."
This is the reason I created a website to begin with. I wish I were a writer for a newspaper. It is not just opinions but I read a lot and learn a lot. Well my website is getting more traffic so that whatever I write is seen by more people. I used to submit all the articles myself. Now I pay article companies to send out the articles for me.
I use articletrader.com which sends out articles to over 300 article sites. Most of them get their article software from articletrader. It is called article MS. I also use isnare.com and submityourarticles.com. The last one has an option to get variations from you so that they send a different article to every article website.

Why Ron Paul Never Had A Chance

Plus Clinton Versus Obama

From what I have seen and heard, Ron Paul appears to be the smartest presidential candidate with the best ideas on how to improve the government. People feel that he has won all the debates. Also he has earned more money than the other candidates. I feel that the reason  that the news has ignored him was because they knew he did not have a chance.
The reason for this is simple. He is only a congressman. Usually people who become President of the U.S. are VPs, governors or senators. George W. Bush ran for congress and lost. Then he ran again and became a congressman. Then if he would have ran for president he would be in the same position as Ron Paul, which is a congressman in Texas. But Bush went on to be the Governor of Texas before running for president.
Ron Paul should have become a senator or governor first. Before Bush, the president was Bill Clinton. He was the Governor of Arkansas before that. Before Clinton was Bush's father, George H.W. Bush. He was a congressman for 2 terms. He ran for senator twice but lost both times. Then he became the director of the CIA. After that Ronald Reagan chose him to run with him and he became the Vice President before becoming president.
Before Bush Sr., the president was Ronald Reagan. He was governor of California before becoming president. Before Reagan was President Jimmy Carter. He became president after being the governor of Georgia.
It looks like the odds are with Clinton or Obama being president. Obama is an excellent choice for president. If you say that an African-American is different than a white person, that is racial prejudice. But if you say that a woman is different than a man, that is simple biology. Before menopause a woman is designed to nurture (the act or process of raising or promoting the development of; training, educating, fostering etc.) children.
Senator Clinton is 60 years old so that is after menopause usually. After menopause, the woman is designed to nurture the village, society or nation. The African-American community reveres the post-menopausal woman or grandmother. Many of them were important in the equal rights movement. So I would like to see how Hillary Clinton would nurture our country.
When George Bush Sr. was president, the economy was very bad. Then Bill Clinton came in and turned it around and it was doing great. Now the economy is bad under another Bush. So what we need is another Clinton to turn it around. Part of the economy is affected by mental attitudes. People associate Clinton with good economy.
Also Bill and Chelsea will be back in the white house, if Hillary wins. Chelsea is a vegetarian and a United Nations report showed that not eating animals does more for the environment than switching to a hybrid car. The raising of animals for food creates more greenhouse gases than all the trucks and cars in the world combined.
Ex-President Bill Clinton has created the Clinton Foundation. It promotes and addresses international causes such as the treatment and prevention of HIV/AIDS and global warming. Whatever does happen, it will be exciting to watch, since this is the closest presidential primary of this generation.

Blog # 19 Misery Loves Company

A very smart girl on a forum asked why school sucks. She then listed all the things wrong with it. My answer surprised me. Here it is:
Here is the answer but you will not like it. There is a saying "Misery loves company." Happiness is not a priority in our society so kids are naturally happy but adults teach them to "grow up" and be miserable like them. So school is run by miserable adults. If they were run by happy adults, you would love it.

But don't worry, the odds are you will grow up and be one of these miserable adults. See site below. Dr Seligman is the director of Positive Psychology that studies how everyone can be happier. He tells in his book, Authentic Happiness, how he yelled at his little daughter for being playful and she told him that he did not have to be grumpy. Once I was teaching a girl the multiplication tables while playing the card game war and she loved it.

The above is the end of what I posted and this is a sad thing but it is true. Although I have read about tribes in the Amazon rainforest and in Africa where the adults are not miserable but they are fun loving just like kids. So this means that it does not have to be this way. But while it is people need to make an effort to go against this stream or tendency and swim upstream.

Blog # 18 Dreams

First I feel that dreams are not supposed to be analyzed anymore than what happens in the physical world. They are a part of life. When you wake up, a dream is over. When you die your life in the physical world is over. Something happened that has never happened to me before. I was having a dream where I was staying at the house of a rich lady (who was not there). I liked my bedroom where I spent a lot of time.
In the bedroom next to mine there was a couple staying there. When I was downstairs the woman asked me to bring her a space heater. I went upstairs to get one and I woke up from my dream. Then I said to myself that it was only a dream, but I wished that I could continue with that adventure. So I went back to sleep after using the bathroom.
The next thing I know is I was upstairs in that bedroom doing things for a few minutes and then I remembered that I was supposed to get the space heater for the woman. The woman came upstairs and asked about what was taking so long. I told her that apparently this is a dream since I woke up before I could get the space heater. Then I went back to sleep but I forgot to look for the heater. Then I woke up.

Blog # 17 Do You Believe in God

Here is something that I put up in a forum.
Maybe atheists do not believe in God because they do not like how others define Her. The God of the Christians reward Christians and the God of the Muslims rewards Muslims. The God of the Jews made non-Jews the un-chosen people. In the Reconstructionist Jewish religion, they do not believe in a God that judges man and then rewards or punishes him. They believe that God is the divinity in people. Also they do not believe in a sexist God that thinks men are better than women.
The KKK (Ku Klux Klan) believes that since God (Jesus) was white, he favors whites over non-whites. Then there are blacks who say that Jesus was black and that all the original Jews were black. A spiritual master defines God as energy and says that is why they say energy cannot be created and cannot be destroyed (a law of physics). Some people will ask who created God. Well that question would not be needed if God were energy.
Or I can define God as a purpose and intelligence behind everything. If evolution had no purpose, it would be random. But there is a purpose and that is survival of the individual and the species so you could say that evolution loves what it created. Then there is an intelligence to back it up. You have to admit that evolution is ingenious. Also this intelligence has a love or appreciation of beauty since evolution could have made everything ugly.

Blog # 16 Random Acts of Kindness

I got an email asking to post random acts of kindness on today's blog. I used to drive a cab. Once a middle-aged woman asked for a ride to a poor neighborhood about 2 miles away. Then she said that she did not have any money. It was 11:00 PM. So I gave her a free ride home. I gave her my card and she said that I follow what my card says. It says at the top: "Even in your darkest hour, I will not abandon you."
One time it was about 5:00 AM. I saw a cab stop and talk to a man and then drive away. He hailed me. I stopped and he said that he needed to go to work at a hotel about 2 miles away but that he did not have any money. So I took him to work for free and gave him my card.
any money. So I took him to work for free and gave him my card.
It is an empowering thing to do something like this. I am supposed to be using the cab to make money for myself. I pay the owner $55 to drive the cab for the night shift (12 hours). When I do something like this, it does not cost me anything since I would be driving around anyway and it only takes me about 15 minutes. Yet it makes a big difference to those people. Both these times it was cold outside.
There used to be a popular saying in America. But now you do not hear it anymore. It is "It does not cost anything to be nice." Instead the saying nowadays is "What is in it for me?"

Blog # 15 Do People Want to be Happy

I asked the above question on a forum and 21 people answered. It was the last of 5 questions. They were:
  1. Does everyone believe in God?
  2. Does everyone want to be Christian?
  3. Does everyone want to be married?
  4. Does everyone want to have children?
  5. Does everyone want to be happy?
People had no problem with the first 4 questions. But there were disagreements with the last question. Several said "yes." Several said "no." Then there were different unsure answers like "probably, perhaps and more than likely." Some did not answer it. One guy who said "no" said that some people are happy not being happy. But that would mean that they were happy.
No one said that they do not want to be happy but imagine that others do not want to be. Of course if you hurt someone and then reason that they do not want to be happy, that would make it more okay. Because everyone wants to be happy, that is why you treat people the way that you would want to be treated. "Do to others what you would have them do to you." (Mathew 7:12, New International Version)
The opposite of happy is depressed, so if they do not want to be happy, then they would want to be depressed. I have never read an article about someone saying how great it is to be depressed and how you should try it. If people cannot agree on everyone wanting to be happy, what can they be agree on? If someone does not know that they want to be happy, I guess that they would be insane.
By definition happy is supposed to be the thing that people wants. My website has a page about finding happiness in an unhappy world. I was brought up celebrating Hanukah and Christmas. My mother wanted me to have the best of what kids have. Happy Holidays to everyone and I hope that you find everything that you are looking for even if you are not sure what it is or what it is called.
That reminds me of something that I said to a woman to let her know how I felt about her. This woman worked in a health food store/restaurant. I took a female there with her kids as a friend. After we ate and I was paying the bill, the woman who worked there asked if I was involved with this woman. I told her that I wasn't and that she was just a friend.
Then I talked to this woman a few more times when I was shopping there (just friendly talk). Then after Christmas I asked her if she got everything that she wanted for Christmas. She said that she got a lot of things but probably no one gets everything that they want. I told her that I wanted only one thing for Christmas and that I did not get it. She asked what it was. I said "Your phone number." She blushed! She liked me and loved that I said that, but she had a boyfriend.

Blog #14 Latest News

I guess that I am not as good at writing blogs as others. The reason I created a website is because I do a lot of reading and learn valuable things. I have been doing that and adding things to my website. There are a lot of diseases out there and a lot of natural cures for them and I want to put them on my website. Also when I come across cures, I am good at evaluating them. I have had a lot of experience with them over the years.
Also I have been writing articles, since I am good at that, and putting them on many websites. The number of article websites has been growing. There is an article website that has a distribution service where they send the article to other article sites that have requested to be on their list. Six months ago their list was around 120 websites. Yesterday it was up to 286 websites.
I have been coming across some good information about Lyme disease and so I will be adding that information to my website. Lyme disease has become a big problem in the Northeast United States. In promoting this website on health and wellness, I have been learning a lot about promoting websites. So I will do an article on that since there are many article websites that only accept articles on that subject.

Blog #13 Relationships and Friendship

Since I can not link to each article, I am now numbering them. I have seen many questions on forums about this and this story, that happened to me, can help these people. At the end of a personal growth seminar I was talking to a woman, Cheryl Stigen, who was also in it. I asked if she was involved with anyone. I expected a simple yes or no. She said that she was not sure. Then she explained that her boyfriend is not paying much attention to her so she is not involved with anyone. I asked her out and she said "yes."
It took an hour for me to drive to her college. We went out to dinner and came back to her dormitory. Her roommate was there for her safety. I was giving her a massage and the roommate asked if she was awake. I said that she was but she asked Cheryl to make sure that I was not touching her while asleep. Cheryl said that she was awake. So that date went well. The next time I took her out to dinner and her roommate was away. After we came back to her room she took a shower before I gave her a massage. She came back from the shower room wearing only her bra and panties.
After giving her a massage I asked if I could hold her and she said "yes." After doing that I tried to kiss her on the lips but she turned so her cheek would be kissed. I tried again and she did the same thing. So that was the end of that date. I asked a female friend of mine what all that meant. She was not sure. So on the 3rd date I asked her about it. She had let me know already that she was kind of confused with who to like. She said that when I started going out with her, her boyfriend was afraid of losing her so he got re-involved with her. So that is why she could not kiss me.
I asked why she came back from the shower just wearing a bra and panties and she said that she felt completely comfortable with me after that first date. She wanted me to keep seeing her as a friend since she liked me. But I did not want to. It was an hour drive and I could find friends closer by. But that relationship with her boyfriend did not last long. So if I would have kept seeing her, or at least stayed in touch with her, then I would have been involved with her. So I should have kept seeing her like she wanted me to. I learned all this much later when it was too late since she was involved with someone then. So being friends with someone you like is a good idea. You have to be patient and see how things unfold.

Better Sleep and Dreams

I have been adding a lot of information to my website. I am trying to create a place where people can find cures for all sorts of things for free. This includes mental and physical things. For many years blue-green algae (phytoplankton) has been sold as a health food supplement. It is heated or freeze dried so that many enzymes in it are destroyed. But they have the live frozen algae called E3LIVE.
Each bottle is $30 but to buy from the company, you have to buy a case of 4 bottles so it does not melt when it gets to you. So that is $120 plus shipping. A local health food store in Philadelphia (Essene) sells single bottles of it. I tried it and my dreams became deeper and stronger and I slept better. So I would suggest this for people involved in spiritual pursuits or people who want to be smarter. Many athletes also use it.

The Secret of Happiness is Time Perception

A study showed that after one year of people winning a million dollar lottery, they are no more happier than before the lottery. But after winning it they are since they have lots of hope for their future like they will have no more problems, no one will treat them badly, it will always be sunny out and everyone will love them. That is an exaggeration but they have a bright outlook on the future and have hope. That is good for everyone. This is what depressed people do not have.
A very famous American psychologist, Abraham Maslow (1908-1970), said "I can feel guilty about the past, apprehensive about the future, but only in the present can I act. The ability to be in the present moment is a major component of mental wellness." Kahlil Gibran, author of The Prophet, says "There is a cup of joy inside of you, but you cannot drink from it save [unless] you forget the past and renounce the future." There is a saying that was made into a song: "If you can't be with the one you want, then love the one that you are with."
So a lot of these negative emotions are about time. To get fear you dive into the past and remember something bad and then you project it into the future. You can fall in love with someone and then you miss them the next day since you are away from them like at work. This is from diving into the past and remembering the nice event and seeing it is not in the present. If it is in the future then you feel somewhat good but if you will never see that person again then you feel sad.
The webpage, What is Enlightenment, tells about the flow experience where people can be strongly in the present and feel a superhuman state of enjoyment. If someone is walking outside and it is a nice day, they could be thinking about the future. They could be thinking about something that they are not looking forward to. Or they could be thinking about something that they are looking forward to. The could be thinking about a bad thing that happened in the past or a good thing that happened in the past. But if this is not going on, then they notice that it is a nice day outside.
Psychology is about trying to help people deal with their past so they do not have to be stuck in their past and can be in the present. Meditation is all about doing this also. Dianetics and Scientology, which is done by Tom Cruise and John Travolta, is also all about this. This is why some people like playing video games. When you are playing a video game it does not matter what happened yesterday. This is the same with sports.
This is also why some people love reading. I am currently reading Thoughts Without a Thinker by Mark Epstein, M.D. (© 1995). I bought it a yard sale for 50 cents. Dr. Epstein is a Harvard college and Harvard Medical School graduate. He is a psychotherapist and the book is about psychotherapy and Buddhist meditation with a forward by the Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama says "The purpose of life is to be happy."

Great Story About Subconscious Intuition and Relationships

A few months ago I was at a health expo with lots of booths on health and new age products. I was eating some food at a table and I started talking to a woman. We exchanged cards. She said that she was an intuitive healer. She did something with me that was accurate but it was not much information. So I told her some more things.
Then she told me that she could have told me more things, but she did not want to invade my personal space. I told her that she did not have to worry about invading my space since I am a very open person. I said that as an example of this, here is a question for her. I asked "What organ of the body is made for pleasure and nothing else?" She said that she did not know. Then I told her that the answer was the clitoris. She looked very upset.
So I figured that she was embarrassed by what I said. When I got home I looked at her website. I saw that she was a specific type of intuitive healer. She was a sexual surrogate. She has sex with  people to help them heal sexual problems. So she could not have been embarrassed. I must have invaded her personal space. It was strange that I asked her a question about a subject in which she was an expert..
I had no idea that I was picking up something about what she does. So I learned that people can have intuition about something without even knowing that they have it. Just last week I learned that people can like someone more than they think that they do. Maybe this is too dangerous to talk about. It is common for people to imagine that someone likes them when they do not.
Keep in mind that if you like someone, you must respect their wishes more than your own since they are the limiting factor. For example if you want to marry someone and they only want to date you, then you can only date them. Don't try to convince them to marry you. Whenever I would go this pizza place, this women would talk to me like she likes is interested in me. I was talking to her the same way.
She had told me that she was a single mom and had taken her son to Ocean City, Maryland during her vacation when the store was closed for a week. So the next I was going to ask her if it was my imagination or do we like each other. But I figured I should first ask if anyone else went with her and her son. She told me that a few people went with her, naming them specifically.
So I asked her if she was involved with the son of the owner of the pizza place. She said "sort of." Now I had never been in a relationship where it was sort of. Either I was or I wasn't. But I went out with a woman who answered sort of when I first asked her and when I pressed her on the issue, she said no and went out with me. But she  would not kiss me. So I asked her about it and she wanted to keep seeing me but could not do anything because she was re-involved with her boyfriend.
When I first met her, she had this boyfriend but he was not paying much attention to her and was not even seeing her. Then when she started going out with me, he got scared of losing her so he got involved with her again. So I did not want to go out with her anymore even though she did so I never saw her again after our 3rd date.
She was right. I was wrong. I had heard from someone that she broke up with him and got involved with someone else later. So if I would have kept seeing her, then she would have got involved with me when she broke up with him. She was honest. She had told her boyfriend that she was going out with me even though she was not involved with me.
So I did not press the issue this time. Of course she could have just answered yes that she was involved with him (the woman at the pizza place) to keep me from bothering her. But I told her that I liked her and I thought she liked me. She said that she did not know what she did to give me that idea. So I figured that I was wrong and I felt good about it. I am usually right about these things so it was good to see that I could be wrong.
Right after that this girl who has a boyfriend but likes me acted like she did not like me anymore. This did not bother me since there are things about her I do not like. There is only one thing that I like about her. Being empathic (an empath feels emotions of others), I love how she looks at me. When she looks at me with this extreme love and can also feel it towards her. So I know that if she broke up with her boyfriend and got involved with me that if she ever stopped looking at me that  way, then I would no longer want to be involved with her.
The above happened right after talking to the woman at the pizza place. Now even though I did not feel any sorrow about the girl not liking me anymore (she is 17 so I do not call her a woman), I had a few dreams about her that night. In the dreams I was very broken hearted about her not liking me. So I figure that since dreams are from the subconscious, I must like her more subconsciously then I do consciously. Then I realized that this could also be the case with the woman at the pizza place and that caused her to talk to me the way she did.
Here is a strange story about not knowing that you love someone. My cousin Bonny was at a wedding and met a guy Jack. But they did not  exchange information to stay in contact with each other. They were both happy with never seeing each other again. But then the next day they accidentally met each other on the subway and they did stay in contact. They have been married now over 20 years and have a house and 3 kids. So both of them at the wedding had no idea that they had just met their future spouse. That is what is so great and beautiful about the future. It is unknown.
A great movie about this is the first Back to the Future movie. It shows how a slight change in the present can make a huge difference in your future.

Being Different or Weird Instead of Being Normal or Ordinary

On a forum, a woman was telling how people at work were looking at her strangely for eating all raw foods and how she must look weird. I have a webpage on fasting with quotes from 18 MDs. A woman on a forum saw that I was saying that fasting was a great thing. She emailed me with objections about fasting. I answered them and she came back with more. I answered those other ones. Keep in mind that Jesus and Moses did fasting.
Then her only objection was that I have to admit that fasting was not normal. So she was right. So I agreed and said that the normal American was fat, depressed and miserable. I could tell that I was talking about her. So she was either like that or was abnormal. She stopped emailing me. So I would rather be extraordinary than ordinary.
Now let us talk about the weirdest person of their century. Leonardo Da Vinci would fit that description. He was so out of his mind that he had a drawing for a flying machine. How crazy was that? But the weirdest person ever in history (not including the immaculate conception and son of God, Jesus Christ [actual name Yeshua ben Yoseph]) was Albert Einstein.
He was a patent clerk when he came up with theory of relativity. He was Jewish just like Jesus, Sigmund Freud and Karl Marx. Newsweek Magazine listed Einstein, Freud and Marx as the 3 most influential people of our century a few years ago. Albert Einstein's theory said that all the physicists were wrong. A newsperson said to him that 100 top physicists say that his theory of relativity was nonsense. Einstein replied that if his theory of relativity was nonsense then it would only take one top physicist to say so.
I heard on the news that Larry Silverstein is building on ground zero since he has the lease to it. But they pronounced his name as Silversteen. Now if stein (pronounced stine) were pronounced as steen then Einstein's name would be pronounced as Eensteen instead of Inestine. Also Jerry Seinfeld would be pronounced as Seenfeld instead of Sinefeld.
A few months after Einstein came up with his theory of relativity, there was an eclipse and his theory was tested. His theory, involving a precise mathematical formula, was tested out and was proven without any doubt to be correct. The next day it was the headline story of the New York Times which said "Lights All Askew in the Heavens...Einstein's Theory Triumphs." He was an overnight celebrity. All the celebrities wanted to meet him.
Now this is only the beginning of how weird Einstein was. His theory of relativity teaches that as something approaches the speed of light, time slows down and distances contract. So at a certain speed (velocity) you could be observing someone in a spacecraft and they can be smoking the same kind of cigarette as you but it takes twice as long as your cigarette to smoke. That is compared to your time. In their time, it takes the same amount of time.
Something that has mass (similar to weight) cannot travel at the speed of light since it would have an infinite mass. But things without mass, like particles of light [photons] or radio waves, do travel at the speed of light. Time slows down as something approaches the speed of light more and more and at the speed of light, time stops and all distances contract to zero. Now does that sound normal and ordinary or does it sound very weird, bizarre and strange?
While others were concerned with money, problems, relationships and other worldly things, Einstein was obsessed with figuring out the above. About a week ago, they announced on the news that a 9 year old boy in Asia was going to his first day of school for that term. What was weird about it was that it was his first day of college instead of the 4th grade.

Matzo Ball Soup for the Soul

There is a series of books called Chicken Soup for the Soul including Chicken Soup for the College Soul. I feel that Matzo Ball Soup is much more comforting and tastes better than chicken soup. Matzo is unleavened bread. In Philadelphia, there is a restaurant near Rittenhouse Square, Rachael's Nosheri, that sells Matzo Ball Soup. Here is a story that I feel is a lot better than many of the stories in the Chicken Soup books.
This happened at the end of  July, a month ago. I was working with a woman, Angel, and another woman, Marlene. Angel (that is her real name) is a hard worker.  She was extremely upset.  She had 6 days to move out of her apartment and she did not have another place to go even though she was trying hard to find another place. She said that she was going to lose all of her things.
I told her that she could put all of her things in a storage facility for $80 a month. She said that she will not have the money since as soon as she is homeless, she is quitting her job. She can't work unless she can shower everyday. I asked her if she can stay with any friends until she finds a place. She said that she did not have any friends.
Then she made a comment about digging up her mother. So I said that she should get in touch with her mother. She said that her mother is dead and that is what she meant about digging her up. She was overwhelmed with the possibility of being homeless and losing all of her possessions.
So I told her that I live in a tiny apartment that was barely big enough for me but if she can't find a place, she can stay with me and put all of her stuff in my basement. I gave her my card and she thanked me. So I took off the table the possibility of her being homeless and she no longer had to imagine that scenario (situation). She was able to find another place just in time.
I do not know if she looked at my card. But besides having my name, phone, address and website, the only other thing that it said was "Even in your darkest hour, I will not abandon you."

Do You Believe In Karma

Here is a story about something that happened to me today. I was at a local grocery store where they were making me 2 veggie burgers. An African American came in (I am white). He ordered a cold sandwich so they were making his while waiting for my fake burgers to cook.
He said that he wanted to sit in the chair there. I said it was OK with me since I sit too much-- like while working at the computer. He said that he was an electrician and was standing on his feet all day. Then he told me that he had a pulled muscle in the back of his leg. I told him that he should do stretching before going to work.
I sat down on the floor and showed him the stretching exercises that I do everyday. I told him the muscles that are stretched and how they benefited the spine. I told him how they will improve his pulled muscle. Then his sandwich was ready. When he paid for it, he told them to also put my food on his bill. I thanked him. He said that I did something for him so he wanted to do something for me.
A lot of Americans in my situation would say "You don't have to do that." This is due to self hate or whatever. The guy knows that he does not have to do it. He wants to do it. To refuse to let him do it, would be a personal insult. It is like saying that I am good enough to do something for you, but you are not good enough to do something for me. So swallow your pride and if someone offers to help you, then let them.
I may as well share them with you. You can take 5 minutes or longer to do them every morning after you wake up or any time. They are my favorite stretches from yoga, martial arts and gymnastics. They will make a difference in your life. First sit down on floor. Spread your legs apart as far as you can get them keeping your knees straight. This is called the straddle position. Bend towards the left knee trying to touch your head to your left knee. Do the same with your right knee. Then bend forward trying to touch your head to the floor.
As you feel a tightening, try to relax so you can stretch further. Stretch so you can feel it but do not try to tear a muscle. Next fold your right leg in as if you were going to sit cross legged, but keep left leg straight. Bend trying to touch your head to your left knee. Also try bring your head to the right side of the knee and then to the left side of the knee. Then do the same on the other side.
Next bring the legs together keeping both legs straight. I guess people call this trying to touch your hands to your feet but also trying to touch your head to your knees while holding your heels with your hands. Relax and let gravity pull your upper body down. Hold this position for about 1 minute or 60 seconds, whichever comes first. This stretches the vertebrae apart helping the cushions (disks) in between them to expand. This stretches the back of the legs including the hamstring muscles and the sciatic nerves.
Here is what Kripalu Yoga (©1992) by Yogi Amrit Desai says about it:
  1. Keeps abdominal organs free from sluggishness, through compression.
  2. Tones kidneys by stretching the back.
  3. Stretches, tones, and lengthens entire spinal column.
  4. Due to the extra stretch given to the pelvic region, brings more oxygenated blood to the sexual organs, thereby helping these organs to absorb nutrition from the blood, which increases vitality and ultimately leads to greater sexual control.
  5. Provides a powerful stretch for the entire back of the body from the heels to the back of the neck.
  6. Deeply tranquilizes the whole system, calming mind and emotions
Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class book (see ad for it at bottom of Finding Happiness webpage) says about this posture: "it improves the flexibility of the sciatic nerves, ankles, knees and hip joints.... It also increases circulation to the liver and spleen and improves digestion."
Next you do something called the cobra in yoga. It compresses the vertebrae in your spine and stretches your lower back. Lie on the floor in the down position of a push-up. Your hips stay on the floor as you lift your head up and back and then the rest of your upper body using the muscles in your back, not your arms. Then relax your back and put all weight on your arms, using the arms to stretch your upper body up more for 60 seconds (if it is longer or shorter than this, it will not hurt you).  When you lower back down, use only the back, not the arms. A cardiologist says that this helps the thymus gland in the chest and the lymphatic system greatly helping your cardiovascular system.
Here is what that yoga book says about this position:
  1. Tones and strengthens the spinal region.
  2. Lessens rigidity in the chest through expansion.
  3. Draws increased blood supply to the spinal cord, strengthening the nervous system.
  4. Massages the abdominal organs.
  5. Relieves constipation through stretching of the abdomen.
  6. Relieves after-meal flatulence.
  7. Normalizes thyroid gland.
  8. During the holding, forces old blood from the kidneys. During the return position, provides a fresh supply of blood to the kidneys, giving this position a diuretic effect (promotes the creation and excretion of urine).
  9. Brings about a sense of security and self-confidence because of the upright carriage.
  10. Strengthens the reproductive system.
Bikram's Beginning Yoga Class book says about this cobra posture: "It increases spinal strength and flexibility, helps prevent lower backache, rheumatism and arthritis of the spine. It also relieves menstrual problems (irregularity, cramps, backache), cures loss of appetite, helps correct bad posture, and improves the functioning of the liver and spleen."

Getting More Traffic to Your Website

This is the big question for many people. You can always spend money advertising your site. But the way to get free traffic is from links that others have on their site and from search engines when people do searches for your keywords. These are the words that have to do with the topic of your site. The science for getting traffic from search engines is called SEO (Search Engine Optimization). The more traffic you get, the more money you can make.
A book I have on it tells how many people who design websites for money also sell services to do SEO. But it says that they usually know very little about SEO. In fact, a simple layout does not hurt the SEO but many times the fancy layouts interfere with the SEO. It is better for you to learn and do it yourself. You can pay someone else to exercise for you and they will become richer but you will not become any healthier.
To see if I know what I am talking about, do a Google search for "Losing Weight," and usually I will come up first on that list. Note that the list is separate from the sponsored links which is paid advertising. In computer talk this means that I have a #1 SERP for losing weight. SERP means search engine results page.
First never try to trick or fool a search engine since that can get you banned from the search engine. Also no one knows exactly what the search engines are looking for since it is a secret and changes over time. So people guess at it. So a lot of what you do, is what you would do if there were no search engines. Create good, unique, valuable content so people will want to read it and have some benefits from coming to your site.
You can submit your site to search engines but they will probably ignore it. It is better to have links to your site from sites that do get searched by search engines. Then they will find your site themselves. The more popular the site is, the more it helps to have a link to you. Also the more of these you have, then the more times the search engine will run across your site when it does its searches. This means more traffic to your site and you make more money.
Google usually waits till your site has been around months before listing it. They keep it in, what is called, the Google sandbox and they know most sites shut down in the first 6 months. They do not want to be giving sites to people that are closed down. If you do a Google search, you see the total sites are a lot less than other search engines. They are not loaded up with all these sites that come and go. If you are a new website, you may not like it, but they want to please the searchers. As of February 2007, Google has 63% of all searches. Yahoo has 23.8% and MSN has 9.6%.
The above is called off site optimization. On site optimization involves things on your site like having your keywords mentioned many times. To see this, do a Google search for a keyword. Then click on "cached" which is their copy of that webpage. It will have on it the keywords highlighted wherever they appear in the webpage. Having links to your site is the best thing.
So it is good to have your website link, like this, www.phifoundation.org/fast.html on a website. But it is much better to have the part that you click on to be the keywords that you are trying to optimize for. I am trying to rank higher with search engines when people do a search for Lemonade Diet which is the same webpage as above. My last Google search showed I was on the 2nd page like 11th  or 12th. I am trying to at least get on the first page (top 10). Then later in the top 5.
Having a link to your site on Yahoo Answers does not help you with the search engines. They ignore the link since it has in the code rel="nofollow" which tells the search engines to ignore it. If it were easy to get lots of traffic to a website than most would not shut down within 6 months. A lady that makes a lot with affiliate websites (where their ads are on your website and you get a commission) says that the way to make money is by getting thousands, not hundreds, of people coming to your website daily (everyday).

Deciding on What Foods Are Really the Healthiest

You can say that all information is about psychology since all information is processed through the human mind. Leon Festinger's cognitive dissonance theory suggests that it is uncomfortable for people to have beliefs that do not match their actions. This means that people will tend to bring their beliefs in line with their behavior. This prevents people from looking at things objectively.
Now there are adults who are compelled or addicted to having sex with little kids. So they have created a belief system that says that it is good for adults to have sex with little kids. It shows that the adult loves the little kid. Now here is the thing to keep in mind. The only people who believe this are those with this compulsion. There are not people who do not want to have sex with little kids, but agree that it is healthy and they wished that they had this desire.
This is how you can tell that someone is not thinking objectively. So when it comes to whether it is healthy to eat meat or not, you need to consider the above. The people who say that it is healthy to eat meat are the people who like eating meat. When I was growing up, meat was my favorite food. Even now after being vegetarian for many years, I still like to eat fake meats like veggie burgers and veggie hot dogs. They are not very healthy but they do taste good. There are not people who hate meat, but eat it because they think it is healthy for you.
But there are many people like me, who love meat but do not eat it because it is not healthy. The same applies to eating all raw foods. There are people who are on this diet but would like to be eating cooked food. But there are no people who do not like cooked foods who are forcing themselves to eat cooked foods because they believe it is healthy or necessary to eat cooked foods. So the people against eating all raw, feel this way BECAUSE THEY LIKE EATING COOKED FOODS.
Kevin Trudeau feels that all raw foods is the healthiest and has a friend who eats all raw. He does not eat all raw because he likes to eat cooked foods but says that maybe someday he will eat all raw. This is also how I feel. There is a group that experimented with this diet extensively. They found that people were the healthiest with this diet but would not stay on it. They did find that by switching to a diet of 85% raw foods and 15% healthy cooked foods at the end of the day as a reward for eating raw all day was much easier for people to stay on.
They did not find it to be any healthier but did not find it to be significantly worse for health. So they used psychology so more people could stick to this diet. See the page on my site about NATURAL HEALING (INCLUDING DEPRESSION) for more on this diet and its benefits.

The Biggest Mistake I Made While Promoting My Website

This is important for anyone promoting a website whether it is for making money or for any reason. After I found a host for my website, they said that it did not matter if I used the www. in the internet address (url) or not. Also on Alexa, which tells how popular a website is, it does not make any difference. So I promoted with the www. and without it. Then I bought a book on SEO (search engine optimization). It explained the search engines look at the web address with and without the www. as being 2 different websites.
This means that the optimization for the site is split in half. So a lot of my effort was wasted. So you should make sure to always use the www. in the url. Soon I will post information on this blog about making money on the internet. One thing to avoid is these business opportunities or moneymaking opportunities where you sell a way to make money on the internet. The idea is that when someone sends you the money, you tell them to do the same thing as you are doing to make money.
It is similar to this. You see an ad in a paper that says "get 100 people a day to send you a $5 bill. Send me a $5 bill." Then it tells you to place enough advertising of the same ad until you have 100 people a day, sending you that money. It is not very ethical.

A Great Internet Story

Two years ago I did not have a computer and was not on the internet. Then my next door neighbors threw away an old laptop computer when they moved out. I took it in and plugged it in and it worked. Having used a friend's computer a few times, I knew I needed a mouse to make the cursor move around so I figured that I would have to buy one. I saw this red pencil eraser looking thing on the keyboard. I touched it and the cursor moved. I felt elated! Then I realized that a laptop does not use a mouse. So that is how I got on the internet 2 years ago.
I learned html code and one and a half years ago I put up a website. I learned about search engine optimization (SEO) and practiced it. One technique is putting up articles, which I did. If you do a search for "chuck bluestein", you will see my articles. If you do a Google search for "losing weight", they will have a list of about 10 million websites. My website comes up first or number one on that list.
I saw in a book that promoting a blog site is different than promoting a website, so I will be learning how to do that. I created a website since I feel I have a lot of good information that can help people. Also I appear to have some luck in finding good links to websites with good information. I did read that if you want to make money with a blog site, you should post something everyday. That way, people will want to look at it everyday to see what is new.
I have not been doing that, but I have been reading books and putting up more great information on my website. I am a perfectionist and want my webpages to have the best information there is, on them. People can make money by having a website or a blog site and putting Google ads on it which is called Google Adsense. The money comes from people advertising on Google which is known as Google Adwords.
I feel that people looking for good information should be able to find it on the internet without having to buy a book. I am trying to make that available to people. It is not a good feeling to buy a book and find that it was not really worth its cost.

Hemp Milk and Hemp Cereal

I was at a health food supermarket (Whole Foods) and saw hemp milk for the first time. Since every plant food has unique phytochemicals that are not in other foods, I decided to buy some. I also bought hemp cereal. I told the employee there that I was buying marijuana milk. She said that hemp is a different plant than marijuana even though the 2 plants are in the same family. I told her that I thought that they were the same plant but she said that they were not.
When I got home, I did a search for it and learned that hemp is cannabis sativa. The flowers, buds and leaves are illegal. They contain the THC which gets people high. The seeds, roots and stems of this same plant are legal and contain no THC. They do contain omega-3 essential fatty acids. The hemp milk tasted good and is made from hemp seeds.

Feel Less Stress By Not Taking Things Personally

In a world of time and space, things happen. For example I went to an ATM machine to take out $20. It malfunctioned and did not give me any money and it said "TAKE MONEY AND CARD" but neither was available. After waiting a minute, it said "TRANSACTION CANCELLED and gave me back my card. I later found out that it had taken $20 out of my account. The machine next to it was out of money. I went back to the same machine and the same thing happened again. I was told I had to talk to the DISPUTES department and the wait could be 15 to 30 minutes.
I called and waited 45 minutes before I could talk to anyone. I explained what happened and they said that I would be credited for the amount but I was only credited for $20 instead of $40. It is normal to get mad about a situation like this but I knew that the ATM was not working right and the person on the phone made a mistake. They did not do it on purpose. So I will have to call again. So you have to understand that things will happen that you do not want to happen. You will have to die one day. In a world of time and space, things come into existence and go out of existence. See the page What is Enlightenment to see that we come from a place beyond time and space.
When people treat you good or bad, it is not about you. It is all about that other person. Great people treat others kindly. Miserable people treat others badly and may even kill their wife and kids. You are more likely to be killed by someone you know, then by a stranger. When someone treats you badly, be glad and thankful. They are giving you their good luck and taking some of your bad luck.
For example you commit a crime creating bad luck for you. Then a police officer treats you badly and they let you free and he has to go to jail and suffer for what you did. There is a saying all about this blog. "Misery loves company." When someone is miserable, they treat others, including you, badly. When someone is extremely happy, then they treat others really nicely. So focus on how you treat others, not how others treat you. You can get ahead by treating others kindly. If you are trying to make money in your own business, then try to be of service to others.
